On March 9, Chinese Ministry of Education officially launched “Schneider Electric Green and Low-Carbon Industry-Education Integration Project”, jointly led by the Ministry and Schneider Electric (France). It is one of the key projects of the China-Europe Platform and also the first Sino-French industry-education integration project for talent training, focusing on green energy management, smart buildings, and green manufacturing.

On December 1, 2021 and January 7, 2022, Hefei University (HFU) participated in the online defense. After the comprehensive evaluation of the Chinese Ministry of Education and the experts of Schneider Electric, HFU’s application was successfully approved.

In the next step, HFU will cooperate with Schneider Electric to actively promote the construction of the Schneider Electric Green Manufacturing Technology Application Center. On the other hand, the two parties will also jointly formulate talent training plans, develop courses and textbooks, carry out teachers training and achievement transformation, so as to provide more advanced manufacturing technology under goals of “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality”, and cultivate top manufacturing talents for better integration of the industry, profession and employment.
