題目：Massive Random Access for 5G and Beyond: An Optimization Perspective
內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介：Massive access, also known as massive connectivity or massive machine-type communication (mMTC), is one of the three main use cases of the fifth-generation (5G) and beyond 5G (B5G) wireless networks defined by the International Telecommunication Union. Different from conventional human-type communication, massive access aims at realizing efficient and reliable communications for a massive number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The main challenge of mMTC is that the BS can efficiently and reliably detect the active devices based on the superposition of their unique signatures from a large pool of uplink devices, among which only a small fraction is active. In this talk, we shall present some recent results of massive access from an optimization perspective. In particular, we shall present optimization formulations and algorithms as well as some phase transition analysis results.

報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介：國(guó)家基金優(yōu)秀青年基金項(xiàng)目獲得者。2007年畢業(yè)于西安電子科技大學(xué)理學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)系，2012年在中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院獲得博士學(xué)位（導(dǎo)師：戴彧虹研究員）；博士期間，受中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院資助訪(fǎng)問(wèn)明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)一年（合作導(dǎo)師：羅智泉教授）。畢業(yè)后，他一直在中國(guó)科學(xué)院數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院計(jì)算數(shù)學(xué)所工作，2018年晉升為數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院副研究員。他的主要研究興趣是最優(yōu)化理論與算法及其在信號(hào)處理和無(wú)線(xiàn)通信等領(lǐng)域中的應(yīng)用，已在Mathematical Programming, SIAM Journal on Optimization, Mathematics of Operations Research等優(yōu)化期刊以及 IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Information Theory等IEEE交叉領(lǐng)域期刊發(fā)表論文四十余篇。曾獲2011年國(guó)際通信大會(huì)“最佳論文獎(jiǎng)”（由IEEE通信學(xué)會(huì)頒發(fā)），2015年WiOpt (International Symposium on Modeling and Optimization in Mobile, Ad Hoc and Wireless Networks)“最佳學(xué)生論文獎(jiǎng)”，2018年數(shù)學(xué)與系統(tǒng)科學(xué)研究院“陳景潤(rùn)未來(lái)之星”，2018年中國(guó)運(yùn)籌學(xué)會(huì)“青年科技獎(jiǎng)”，2020年IEEE通信學(xué)會(huì)亞太地區(qū)杰出青年學(xué)者獎(jiǎng)（2020 IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award）等。他目前擔(dān)任《IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications》、《IEEE Signal Processing Letters》和《Journal of Global Optimization》期刊的編委。他是IEEE信號(hào)處理學(xué)會(huì)SPCOM（Signal Processing for Communications and Networking）的技術(shù)委員會(huì)成員（Technical Committee）、中國(guó)運(yùn)籌學(xué)會(huì)副秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)、中國(guó)運(yùn)籌學(xué)會(huì)數(shù)學(xué)規(guī)劃分會(huì)副秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)。
